Professional Courses:

The Association of |Chartered certified Accountants (formerly the Association of Certified & Corporate Accountants) is the largest body of the Accountants recognised by statute in the UK. Founded in 1904, ACCA is the world’s largest and fastest growing international accountancy body. ACCA was the first professional body to offer examinations based on international accounting standards (IAS), providing truly global, transferable skills that are highly valued by employers in all sectors. The qualifications awarded by the Association offer individuals at all levels the opportunity to work at the heart of business. Members of the Association use the designatory letters ACCA, if Associates and FCCA, if fellows.

Entry Requirements
Candidates must be aged 18 or above to register and meet at least one of the criteria stated below:
2 A Levels and 3 GCSEs (5 separate subjects including English and Mathematics)
CAT Level B (complete) OR AAT (UK) intermediate (complete)
BTEC National Certificate (any subject) OR Advanced GNVQ (any subject)
NVQ Level 3 / 4 (any subject) OR Degree (from a recognised institution in any subject)
ACCA Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance (complete)
Degree holders may be eligible for exemptions on a subject-to-subject basis at the
Association’s discretion.

BSc Honours Degree in Applied Accounting
ACCA has developed a unique relationship with the UK’s Oxford Brooke University, which allows students to sit for the BSc Honours Degree in Applied Accounting while taking their ACCA examinations. To be eligible, students must have sat and passed a minimum of modules 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6. Candidates with exemptions in these modules will not be eligible to join the degree scheme. In addition to passing part 1 and part 2 students will be required to complete a research and analysis project.
