Health Services

Treatment under Britain’s National Health Services will be given to students on course of 12 weeks (3 months) or longer. We will assist you in making appointments with a doctor or a dentist if you need treatment during your stay. The College will be happy to help long-term students to register with their local General Practitioner (GP). For that student studying for less than 12 weeks, we strongly recommend you take out travel insurance.

Leisure & Recreation

We are sure you will have great time in London. Whatever your interests- there is something for you in our sports and social programme. As a LMC’s student you are automatically a member of International Students House (ISH). This private club offers you an excellent range of sports and social activities with other students from around the world.

Personal Mail, Faxes and Internet Facilities

While studying at LMC you can use the College address to receive personal mail. Fax facility is available in the reception area. There is a small charge for sending faxes. Students have unlimited free access to the Internet. Your personal email address can be set so you can receive and send personal emails.

Academic Support & Services

Personal Tutor
Full - time students will be assigned a personal tutor who is normally one of the teaching staff involved with the course. Your tutor will be responsible for following your progress and helping you with any academic and personal difficulties.

Welfare & Counselling

Members of our staff are pleased to help the students throughout their studies. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere also encourages students to ap proach the Academic Dean or the Directors for assistance. Overseas students will find the services of the Welfare Officer particularly useful when they need to open a bank account or register with a doctor or deal with immigration problems.
Counsellors are available for students who come for a variety of reasons such as difficulties, panic attacks, isolation, suicidal feelings, and depression, anxiety and family problems.

Admission Statement

London Millennium College welcomes students of any age, religion, race gender, cultural background and ethnic origin to all of the programmes, activities, rights and privileges, generally available to its students at the College.

It does not discriminate, on the basis of these characteristics in the administration of its education and admission policies, financial assistance, or other College administered programmes.

LMC reserves the right to make changes, at any time, in the rules, regulations, fees, class scheduled and programme.

 

How to Apply
The prospective student should complete application form. After checking through it carefully, forward it to the College at the address given in the prospectus or on our website. Please note separate application and admissions procedure apply to higher degree programmes.

Entry Requirements

Normally for entry into an undergraduate course, one should have completed 12 years of education. Alternatively, 3 GCE at Advanced Level and 5 GCSE including English Language and Mathematics. For postgraduate course you need a relevant degree with a minimum of 2.2 standard.

Availability of Courses

Applicants should note that while courses are offered as described at the time of going to press, some revision may be made, either as a result of academic development or of external constrains. There is no guarantee that course, which are printed on this website, will actually be taking place for this academic year. The College reserves the right to cancel any advertised course at the |College due to insufficient admissions or enrolments. We may even cancel classes due to very low attendance, making it inevitable for the College to run the course.

Formal Requirements for Enrolment

As a new student, unless formally exempted, you must:

  • Satisfy the entrance requirements for the course or have qualifications deemed equivalent by the College
  • Have applied for admission and have a confirmed acceptance letter from the College and
  • Have paid the fees prescribed for the course, or have made acceptable arrangements to do so.

By enrolling, you accept and agree to the regulations and rules of the College if you are not formally exempt from entry requirement you will not be allowed to enrol unless you produce original documentary evidence of having satisfied those requirements. You will be advised of the arrangements for enrolment and induction once your place is confirmed.
