| OCR Level 2 NVQ in Spectator Safety |
| Level 2 NVQ in Spectator Safety |
Introduction The National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Spectator Safety were introduced by Skills Active as part of measures aimed at raising levels of spectator safety at all types of events. This NVQ is based on the level 2 NOS, thus ensuring that the qualification represents current best practice in stewarding and spectator safety.
This NVQ in Spectator Safety will complement ASET's existing portfolio of qualifications, particularly the security related programmes. The aim of this NVQ is to deliver competence based training relating directly to the NOS developed by Skills Active. This will contribute to ensuring a safer spectator environment at sports events, parades, concerts or carnivals with static and/ or moving crowds.

This NVQ is for those working in the match day and events stewarding industry. It can be achieved by individuals typically working at sports events, parades, concerts or carnivals where the safety of spectators is paramount. |
