Level 4 NVQ in Business and Administration

Who is it for?
NVQ level 4 is equivalent to the learning level required to study Certificates of Higher Education (HNDs). The course involves detailed analysis of high-level information and developed knowledge in an area of work or study. Roles will include managerial skills, demonstrating competence in planning and business awareness. Example roles include: Office Manager, Administration Manager and Assistant Company Secretary.

Structure

The qualification has core and optional units of which 6 units in total must be completed to achieve this NVQ. This must consist of two core units and four optional units (at least three optional units must be selected from group B).

Assessment

The candidate presents evidence to cover performance indicators and knowledge criteria for each unit chosen. The evidence is assessed and verified internally by occupationally qualified staff, and is subject to external verification by ASET.
