A nationally recognised and flexible qualification from OCR an Awarding Body that enables candidates to gain a qualification that relates directly to their management role within the Care organisation. This valuable qualification is recognising the skills of care home managers and candidates could progress into professional employment in social work.

Candidate Profile

The candidate must be in a management position and also implementing and evaluating policies and procedures within the care establishment. Includes residential care homes managers working with clients in residential, learning or physical disability homes and supported or assisted living housing.

Entry Requirements

It is desirable that the candidate has already attained a relevant level 3 qualifications.

Duration & Format
The course comprises of ten full-day workshops and individual assessments. The sessions will be based around the candidate’s prior and existing knowledge. Completion is expected within 12 months and up to a maximum of 18 months

Assessment Guidelines

London Millennium College tutors will undertake assessments and observations will be done as required in the workplace. Assignments and projects will be given to ensure that information has been understood.
